Job Description & Requirements:

The club is a premier family health club in Massachusetts is seeking a Tennis Professional to work with Tennis Director and a large staff.

Applicant must be experienced and skillful with all tennis populations. Positive attitude and willingness to take direction. Must be available some nights and weekends. Applicant must be a team player and be a good communicator with both staff and members. USPTA Elite Certification preferred and, or PTR Level 1 certification.

Requirements:
  • Teach on court approximately 20-30 hrs per week
  • Provide some training to other tennis staff, both on court and off court training
  • Organize and maintain tennis department equipment / balls, hoppers, teaching aids
  • Assist Tennis Director in all pro staff meetings.
  • Support Tennis director in achieving tennis department goals
  • Positive, pleasing and service oriented attitude
  • Ability to generate repeat clientele
  • Ensure that members and guests receive courteous, prompt and professional attention to their tennis needs.
  • Proactively identify new members with tennis interest and reach out to bring players into tennis programs.
  • Perform diligent daily inspection of the courts & tennis facilities prior to the start of play and ascertain all necessary maintenance has been performed and courts are clean and in a safe working order.
  • Report any maintenance concerns to the Facilities Manager.
