Job Description & Requirements:

Golf Club in Atlanta, GA is seeking a full-time career oriented Tennis Professional to hire as an Associate Tennis Professional that will work alongside the Head Professional and under the Director of Tennis. 
 
This position will be responsible for junior development specifically at the orange and green ball level. This includes but is not limited to administration of weekly classes, summer camps, junior team tennis, play days, and tournaments.  In addition to these responsibilities, the professional will be required to teach adult teams, give private lessons and fulfill other duties that fit the skills of the applicant as well as the needs of the club.
 
Candidates also need to have strong tennis playing skills and teaching skills as well as exceptional communication, organization and customer-service skills. Applicants need to be certified in at least one of PTR’s junior development certification disciplines. 

Weekend and evening hours are required. Some holidays may be required. Due to the cyclical nature of the industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the club. All employees are required to fully comply with the Golf Clubs rules and regulations. This position requires continuous standing, walking, bending, lifting, pulling, pushing, and squatting, occasional sitting and exposure to extremes in outside temperatures.

Compensation will include a base pay rate and lesson commission which is commensurate with experience.  Benefits package for full time employees includes access to medical, dental, vision and life insurance, and 401K.  Club covers association dues and education allowance as budgeted.
